GrokCode has given up on IE6. Its time. It no longer makes sense to spend the extra time developing for IE6. –GrokCode

VentHere says:

I hear you. IE6’s death is long overdue, and I wish it would stop following me like a sick dog. Just put it out of its misery. Don’t code for it. That’s all I have to say. –VentHere

Paragent

Timothy of Paragent says:

We’ve stopped checking for IE6 compatibility with our Paragent.com application. We don’t go out of our way not to support it, but we aren’t going to devote a single minute of development or Q&A time any more. –Timothy Ritchey

Blink Software Solutions

Blink Software Solutions says:

Totally agree with this idea. IE 6 makes web development a huge pain.

I wish there was an easy way to get people to update to the newer versions of Internet Explorer and I suppose if a lot of sites tell them their browser is outdated that may help. –Blink Software Solutions

Incite ICT

Matthew of Incite ICT says:

We switched to OS X in our office 5 years ago for various reasons (we still love and appreciate Windows so no fanboys). Having to develop for a 7 year old browser costs us a great deal of time and money. I fully support putting IE6 to rest. –Matthew Slight

Rithum / Flash Flash Revolution

Rithum / Flash Flash Revolution says:

Both of our sites, rithum.com and flashflashrevolution.com are somewhat dropping support for ie6. I am the lead web developer on both websites, and rarely check what they look like. They both work in IE6, but don’t look very good. The only problem with dropping IE6 is most of our traffic comes from students at schools.

All of my other projects have no respect for IE6 though. –Rithum / Flash Flash Revolution

Oxyweb

N Essa of Oxyweb says:

We no longer actively support IE6 and advise all new clients of this who are happy to support professional practices.

We support open ratified standards and no longer spend our time to mess around with code that Microsoft slapped together during a drunken weekend in the woods of Seattle. –N Essa
